    Some little quirks, but overall a great buy This isn't a flimsy photo album made of super thin plastic that will rip apart and separate at the seam, this is a big, hefty book that is well-made and will survive all the years you give to it.It even comes with a clear vinyl sleeve to slide over the album and protect it. It also has a lined margin next to each photo to write some notes about each photo.I love it but it does have some quirks:1) It does have that weird faint factory chemical smell, so you'll need to air it out for a little bit.2) Mine wasn't that vivid blue, but a more washed out color, like someone ran it through the laundry a few times before binding it.3) And the photo frame at the front is kinda... weird. See, it's in rectangular format, like a 4x6 photo, but it's not 4x6, it's 3x4 or something. And the little square window is even smaller. You'll need to trim down your print to get it to fit in there. Or stick a Polaroid 600 photo in there, like I did.Overall, definitely worth it, I'll buy another one in a new color after I finish this one. I just don't give things 5 stars unless they're perfect. 4They hold up well and are easy to load the photos in them These are solid photo books. This is my fifth one of these over the various colors available. They hold up well and are easy to load the photos in them. They also come wrapped in a plastic cover that you can leave on for added protection. There is a good amount of space next to each picture should you want to include some captions for the pictures. 5Great photo album Great photo album for the price! It's a little plain, but it holds a lot of pictures and it's so inexpensive that I cannot complain. My phone's memory is almost full, so I have been printing A LOT of photos and then deleting them, so I have needed a lot of these albums. I have bought more in different colors and they all hold up equally well. 5Functional, nice colors - not much space to write captions, though We've taken a LOT of photos of our first child, so we bought several of these Pioneer Photo Albums. They're pretty nice. The colors are bright, the binding rather sturdy, and the pages turn easily.One of the incidental benefits of buying these is that you start to see just how many photos you're taking/printing, and that can help get things under a control a bit. When we realized we filled one bookshelf and we weren't even to the first year yet, it was a good visual reminder to slow down...Our only real complaint is that the photos sometimes slide out of the plastic pockets. It doesn't happen very often, and mainly, when it's being carried by a nearly two-year-old (which isn't its intended user), but it can be frustrating. Another minor concern is that the space they give you to write captions is pretty small.All in all, a nice photo album. 4DO NOT BUY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME I bought this as a gift and regretted it imediately. The outside cover looks nice and the color is nice but the pages are cheap and wrinkly. I filled about a third of it up with pictures thinking it would straighten the pages out but it only made things worse, the clear plastic wrinkles and makes it difficult to see the photo behind it. Also there were many slots that looked as if they were coming apart around the edges before I even got a chance to load the pictures in. If you want to load pictures vertically, good luck because they slide out of the slots when you turn the page. There were several pages that looked like they had fingerprints on them, like maybe I got somebody's returned photo book. The margins are pointless and nearly impossible to write in because of the binding.I am very disappointed in this product and would not recommend to anyone. I am debating on returning it because with shipping, I will be getting less than half the money I paid for it.FYI - I bought Pioneer's 200 pocket photo album in a previous purchase and it loved it. Don't know how they screwed up so bad on the 300 pocket. 1Best Photo Album Ever !!!! I love these photo albums, they are very nice. The pictures go in easily and there is an area to the side to write a date or note, if you are the type to do that stuff, The albums are very nice quality and I always use a picture on the front, so I know approximately what time period I will find in the album, but you could put a card with the dates or the title just as easily. I have only used these photo albums, for the past few years, and wish I had the time, to purchase a bunch of them and redo all of my albums, because these are the BEST. 5Good price point, not the highest quality Good value for money and it's holds a lot. I had to buy a variety of these after printing a large amount of photos. No issues at the moment but in a few years of use I could see issues developing and photos maybe falling out. It's easy to add & remove the photos. The photos can be placed both horizontally (landscape) and vertically (portrait). If all photos are horizontal, then album will hold 300 photos as advertised. That amount will be reduced if photos are placed vertically. Also, vertical photos may not stay in place as well as horizontal photos. The main downside I have with these albums is that they are heavy, even without photos. Also, the front or back covers may separate from the main body of the album if you are not careful when handling the album. 4Good value for the money. I needed an album that would hold a couple hundred photos from a recent trip. I was searching for one that was attractive, had spaces to write about the photo, and one that wasn't too bulky. This album fit my needs perfectly. It seems to be well made, the photos are easy to insert and they stay in place. 5pages crease while turning, not easy to insert photos, & feels a bit cheap. was excited to insert all my photos in my new photo album but inserting them wasn't as easy as the ones I already have, they kind of get stuck or feeling like your dragging them against the paper and plastic. The pages are made of paper and turning the pages isn't smooth, the pages will crease in the middle and it just doesn't look good. The actual photo album is thin and feels a bit cheap. 2
