    9 plates are not really 9 I purchased 7 and 9 . They seem sterdy enough but 9 plates are actually smaller than 9 , closer to 8.5 . If you are looking for plates to service dinner, I suggest you purchase 10 and if you do, I think you will be fine. 4Sturdy and high quality Great quality.
