Customer Reviews

good stopper, but make sure you get 2 sizes ...good stopper, but make sure you get 2 sizes down. for example, our sink hole is 2" in diameter and we eventually got the 1-5/8 to 1-3/4" one and that was perfect. the only 2 downsides are that the inside is a bit hollow, which is fine for our bathtub, and the depth is a bit shallow. otherwise, it's a good purchase.4No regrets!Since purchasing this plug I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my overall quality of life. I hate looking back at old pictures of myself when I was poor, unattractive, and felt utterly alone. This plug has changed my life. I am now drawing triple digit income working from the comfort of my sink and have recently become engaged. I am sure she loves me for me not just my money and fame. This one little stopper did all of this and also keeps water from draining out of my sink. I would recommend to anyone for twice the price.5Insufficient Height This stopper (advertised to fit a drain DIA 1-3/4" ~ 1-7/8") was purchased for my new bathtub (drain DIA: 1-7/8").It is found to fit by squishing it. Currently the stopper sinks in only 10% of the drain depth - the stopper could get accidentally unplugged if the metal ring gets caught by somethingThe stopper height is shorter than expected (before ordering it, the product specification was checked but it had no mention of the height). The stopper height is only 3/8" in comparison to the drain depth of 1-1/4" = 10/8".Even if the stopper got fully sunked in, it would occupy only 30% of my drain depth. Is LASCO saving the material cost by this?. 3Go with the actual measurement. Measure very carefully...Everyone was saying to order a size smaller, so I did.. Ordered one to fit a 1" opening and when it arrived it was way too small.. I have now ordered the next larger size.. Wasn't worth the hassle to return the little one, so I'll just keep it.... 3Does the job.I have jets in my bath and I hate that water goes in and out everytime I take a bath.Very happy with the fact that these come in different sizes because there is different sizejets and drains to plug up in my bath. They seal up nicely, but not completely. My biggest problem with them is that the ring/hoop doesn't go all the way through the "handle"Once these are in place, it's kind of impossible to get the back out. Pliers just rips the thing right off.4Poorly designed!!I bought these to replace the cheap drain plugs at work. They do stop the water from going down the drain, the problem though is that little O ring. From the picture, it looks like it goes through the rubber, but no. it is open-ended and just barely grabs the rubber. The first time I pulled the ring to drain the sink the O ring and stopper separated. I had to dig the stopper out of the sink with a knife. Poor design and I would not recommend this product.2My very first bad product from Amazon.I didn't want to believe the negative reviews. With all of the products I've ordered, the negative reviews were more complaints than reviews; written by people who just didn't know what they were doing. This time, they were correct. My drain is 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and no matter how hard I try to push, this stopper will not go in. If this stopper were just 1/16 of an inch smaller, it would've been perfect.Since I'm a bit of a hands on guy, I thought I could just whittle the outer walls down to my preference. Unfortunately the walls were too thin, and I ended up whittling too much off, causing a tear. Now it's really useless.1Does not fit a 1 3/4" drain hole properly.Listed as a 1 3/4 inch stopper, my drain hole in my tub is exactly 1 3/4 inches measured with a digital caliper, but this stopper barely fits (it's too large) and pops back out of the drain hole no matter how hard I jam it in there or twist, etc. Probably perfect for a 1 1/2 or 1 5/8" drain hole, but not really for 1 3/4. Sides are probably sloped too aggressively and the material too hard to conform.2Too big; too expensive for what you get.Piece of crap. I bought the one for 1.25 up to 1 and 3/8 inch. My sink is 1.5 inch diameter, and this was still too big. Waste of time and money. What did I like "best"? That I was smart enough to only buy one, just in case. Save your money and go to a home improvement store.1and got a perfect fit. The stopper should be at least 1/4 ...Be sure to measure the inner ring of the drain and not the outer ring. I purchased the 1 3/4 in. stopper for a 2 inch drain hole, and got a perfect fit. The stopper should be at least 1/4 in smaller, maybe up to 1/2 in smaller than your drain's measurement. At 1/2 inch smaller you run the risk of the stopper going too close to flush with the surface of the drain and not sealing properly. Otherwise, the product was well packaged and came quickly. Great purchase!5Good qualityPlug is of a good quality. I don't know about the suction power or ease of removal because I got the wrong size. I ordered another one in the correct size and expect to receive it tonight. I would recommend this product. It arrived fast.5Read the reviews and buy one size down.I read a lot of the reviews before buying and I'm glad I bought a size smaller than I measured for. This fits just about perfectly in our 1 3/4" drain for our tub in the apartment. It fits SNUG so I can't imagine it would fit very well in an actual 1 1/2" drain hole. It's very firm and a bit difficult to get in and out. I'd recommend getting some sort of chain to tie to the loop as well because it is very tiny and hard to even fit a finger through (and I have small hands). Otherwise appears to work just fine.3
