Doesn't work The filter worked for a couple of days, and now it just doesn't work anymore. Nothing comes out. The water just sits there. I read ways to troubleshoot it and still doesn't work. It's really annoying. 1Water flow is extremely slow to almost blocked and plastic housing has yellowish color.Didn't use it right a way. Now it's too late to return it. The filter is extremely slow and almost blocked and I also see yellowish discoloring on the plastic housing. Not sure whether this is re-furbished or not. Now I need to order another one.1Contact the manufacturer if a problemThe manufacturer stands behind the product, which speaks well of the quality. I had an issue with mine (Ive been using these for years) and they sent a replacement without question. While I haven't tested the water, it tastes great and seems to do a good job.5Great filter, great system We just installed our second filter.I love this.The filter, the dispenser etc. they are all awesome.And saving the earth from hundreds of recycled water bottles a year is an amazing bonus!! 5Pour filterationBought this back in March, With the Water tank that it goes on. in August the orignial filter that came with the unit, would filter the water very slow. I had replaced the filter with this one, clean the container and cooler. it is November and, am getting the same issue. Pour water in the upper water chamber last night this morning it about 3/4 of the water is still in the upper chamber, Got home from work and still have about 1/2 the water in the upper chamber. It's only the wife and I using it so it should still have plenty of life in it.1Use to work betterWe've been purchasing these filters for a few years and this is the first time we got one that doesn't exactly filter the water the way it should. We have the water filtration system for our water cooler and have had much success purchasing these filters up until the one we received a month ago. Just as some of the recent complaints either the water barely filters, or it doesn't, or it will eventually once we start using water. We also flush it out for 30 min prior to first use as the directions say so not sure what the problem is but it's very frustrating as we can't get the container to fill with filtered water because of it. I've never had a filter that didn't work up to this point either.1nasty charcol residuewater is coming out black like the filter is full of charcoal powder, followed instructions to the letter it is like the filter has changed may have to go with new zero water brand1The filter was dirty when I opened itThe filter was dirty when I opened it. Blue stuff was all over the filter . Even when I soak it for 30 minutes. It was so dirty I had to wash it with soap. So think before you buy...1Keeps drippingI couldn't get a good seal with my Vitapur jug. Tried several times, made sure everything was tight, made sure the rubber bands were in place, tried with my old band and the new bands, but it always drips. No bueno.32 filters in, and still, no flow. Buyers bewareI had the first one replaced, only to have the 2nd one with the same problem. I have been using these filters for about 2 years now, and never had any issues, always followed the instructions...soak for 30 minutes, rinse, give a light shake, install, done.With both of the filters sent, I filled the top chamber of my water bottle, go to work, come home from work 12 hours later, and water still in top chamber. when I take out the filter, run it through my faucet, shake filter, water is charcoal black...nasty.Seems like this is B-stock inventory outdated or something, I have no idea, but both my experiences with these filters from this listing have disappointed me. Requested a refund, and will unfortunately have to go back to COSTCO.com to buy it.1Once was great, not so much nowI have purchased a number of these filters in the past and they worked fine. However, something has changed and I had to send one back and the one I received was faulty. It s simply does not filter water the way the old ones did and the water just doesn t taste fresh and clean. Too bad as I don t know of any other replacements that fit my water cooler.1
